Repeated failure to share power: Vision again grabs all 7 Vancouver seats on Metro Vancouver Board of Directors

(Updated) This is something we feel should attract media and public attention. Vision Vancouver has once again appointed only its own people to monopolize all seven Directors‘ seats representing the citizens of Vancouver on the Metro Vancouver Board. This is a problem, because of the secrecy of Metro Vancouver in many of it practices, and the failure of the Vision political machine to share Metro information with the rest of the elected members of City Council. Yet again today, after brief formalities, the Metro Vancouver Board meeting was closed to the public, so all but Board members were ejected from the room, and the live web video went dark.

During the December 9, 2015 Regular Council meeting Mayor Robertson brought forward a recommendation to again appoint all seats for Directors to Vision Vancouver Council members, as follows:
