Have you been treated unfairly by a provincial or local government body?
The Office of the Ombudsperson (“B.C.’s Independent Voice for Fairness, www.bcombudsperson.ca) is holding a “mobile complaint clinic” to help B.C. residents with complaints about provincial and local public authorities. For the first week of February 2016, they will be in five Lower Mainland communities to meet with individuals and receive new complaints.

B.C.’s Office of the Ombudsperson can investigate complaints about all provincial ministries and boards, Crown corporations, colleges and universities, schools and boards of education, health authorities, local governments and self-governing professions. [That includes municipal governments.]
MetroVanWatch inquired and learned that the Omubudsperson’s office does one or two tours each year and spreads them out across the province, so it might be a couple years until they get back to the Lower Mainland. However, for the dates listed above for the Lower Mainland clinic, they will accept complaints about any provincial public authority. And people are always free to make a complaint by phone, mail or with the online complaint form.
