huntington-Vicki, web Independent MLA Vicki Huntington  last week in BC Legislature  attempted to change the very nature of civic elections , with amendments to the B.C. Local Elections Campaign Finance Act. She received strong support from the BC NDP and Green Party, but the effort was completely quashed by the BC Liberals .
