Town Hall on Canada Post’s Super-Mailbox plans Saturday February 22nd

Mailbox Canada Post announced plans to eliminate home delivery of mail and replace this service with super-mailboxes in major Canadian centres, including Vancouver. A CBC article states that home deliveries in major urban centres “will be phased out over the next 5 years.” Do you believe this is the right direction for Canada Post to pursue for mail delivery? Will you be affected?

A Town Hall will be hosted by MPs Libby Davies (Vancouver East) and Don Davies (Vancouver Kingsway) to discuss the cuts to Canada Post home deliver services. The event will take place on Saturday, February 22nd, from 11:30 to 1:30pm at the Trout Lake Community Centre (3360 Victoria Drive).
