RGS at Vancouver City Council – for the record, video clips

As the process of the final adoption of the Regional Growth Strategy in Coquitlam and Metro Vancouver marches forward, it might be time to reflect back on the statements by both councillors and citizens who opposed this 30 year plan.

The City of Vancouver Council approved the RGS by a 5-2 vote on March 3rd, 2011.  Below is a video clip of Councillor David Cadman questioning staff:

No public hearing was held in the City of Vancouver and hence speakers were only heard at the Council debate on the ratification of the RGS. All of the speakers to the RGS motion were opposed; videos of selected speakers are below:
